Kelti and I spent an afternoon at Temple Square this week and attended her friend's choir concert there. It was great to spend some time with my girl...she is my best friend. Of course she took along her camera, which is always fun. Here are some of the pictures she took.
This is the tree in the lobby of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, where the concert was.

Salt Lake Supercross 2010
We took the whole family to Supercross this year. Of course, Mitchell enjoyed it the most! Marcus and I had a great time too. I think that Salt Lake is cursed as far as weather is concerned...last year it rain in the afternoon. Which was not good, but much better than raining during the race. And at race time the sun even came out! But this year, the weather was threatening again! It was nice all afternoon, which was great for touring the pits. It even held out for the opening ceremonies...but then the heavens opened and we payed for it!!! Not only did it start to rain at the start of the first heat...it even snowed!! We were not too bad, but by main event time, it was a down pour. UGH!! Anyway, we had a great time with great friends!

Oldies!
I got my hands on all the old slides that my parents took when I was a kid...Wow! there are some good ones!! Marcus has helped me scan them and put them on the computer. I am planning to get them all scanned and put on a DVD for my family. Here are just a few to give you a taste. Don't laugh too much!!
Not sure when this one was taken, approx. 1970.
Richard and Martin with Grandad..."Grandad's Army"
Trafalgar Square, feeding the pigeons. Kelti was shocked at how short my dress was. She told me I was immodest! I had to have a talk with my Mum about that...she made the dress. lol!
I didn't like the pigeon sitting on my head!!
Four Generations - My Mum, Great-gran, Nana, & me.
These were taken on our first trip back to England after we immigrated to Canada. I was 5 years old.

Update!
It has been so long since I have blogged...life has taken over! This year has gone so fast. I can't believe that it is April already. Here is a look at what we have been up to...
The keiki (little girls) from our hula group competed in a dance competition in St. George this spring. We had a great weekend away in the sun!...shopping, swimming, dancing, and having fun with the girls. They did so well and took first place.
Grandma and Grandpa came to help us finish the basement. They brought a surprise for Kelti...Wackily Jackily! Kelti was pretty sick the day they arrived, but nothing like a bff to brighten your day!
Mum and Dad got tickets to General Conference. It was really nice to go with them and take the kids. It was Kiana's first time to an event at the Conference Center.
Kelti performed a Tahitian dance at her school's multi-cultural event. I am very proud of her. She never gets nervous to perform hula, but she was pretty nervous to dance for her peers.
Mitchell's latest past-time is BMX biking with his friends. They have built a jump on a vacant lot over by the lake. They spend hours there.
Mitchell spent Spring Break with a friend up at a cabin. He had a great time snowmobiling, quading and sledding. Good times!
